This year's Inverness Highland Games looks set to be one of the most memorable ever seen as we celebrate the very best of Scotland's traditional heritage in Bught Park in the middle of what is undoubtedly going to be one of the biggest weekends of the year in our city.

A few months ago we learned that following our Games on Saturday; and the Inverness Gala on Sunday afternoon; Canadian Superstar Bryan Adams was heading to the banks of the River Ness to play in the adjoining field on Sunday evening.
And before we forget.... here is the link for you to get Bryan Adams concert tickets

As you can imagine accommodating such an amazing event has led to one or two tweaks to our Highland Games layout for this year; but we think that you are going to really enjoy the changes that we have made.

Situated at the west end of our city, our field is an enjoyable 15 minute walk from Inverness City Centre; and the first thing that you will notice when you arrive is that our funfair has been moved to the city end of the field. Naturally we had to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the arena that is being constructed for the Bryan Adams concert; and we are pleased to announce that it will be used to accommodate the brand new City of Inverness Highland Games Pipe Band Competition which will be making its debut this year. Organised by Scotty Taylor, we are really looking forward to what should be a spectacular addition to our Games Day programme.

The Inverness Highland Games and Gala Weekend is sponsored by the Inverness Common Good Fund with great support from our local business community community.

To all our supporters and our volunteers, and to all our competitors and performers and their families, a huge thank you in advance for your support for our event.

Don't forget to check out our programme page for the latest listings... and as usual ..... all timings are subject to change on the day.... once we discover how many competitors wish to take part in our event!

See you there
