We are delighted to announce Under 12's can visit the Inverness Highland Games absolutely free.

making this one of the most affordable family days out in the Highlands.

Entries to the track and field events can be made on Games day. The Competitors Registration Tent is located at the Ice Rink end of the grandstand.

Once you have paid your admission to Bught Park - entry to our track and field and Heavy events is free courtesy of our sponsors. Visitors are especially welcome to take part on the day; however entry to our Heavy events is not suitable for the inexperienced. Visiting Heavies (in traditional dress of course) are always welcome to throw at our Games but we reserve the right to refuse entry on the day.


Well behaved Dogs on leads are always welcome to attend our event however we do reserve the right to refuse admission to animals if we feel it is necessary.
Guide and other Friendly Dogs on leads are always welcome at our event and there is a watering point behind the grandstand for any of our four legged friends who may get thirsty.


It is a condition of entry to our event, both as a spectator and a participant, that you a) note that filming and photography at our event will take place and b) give permission by your attendance to being photographed and filmed.This is an important part of the Highland Games experience for many of our once in a lifetime visitors and your cooperation and understanding is appreciated by all.

In the interests of security please note that bag searches and other security measures will be in operation.

Car parking can be limited at the Games field . Please allow extra time to park away from the Games site.
